STAY AWHILE
Sleeping?
Boston has many great hotels and options available for easy access to the ICA/Seaport. Below are the room blocks we have secured near the ICA. Each has an individual booking link or mention our names for the booking rate.
Flying?
Logan Airport is just across the harbor and is easily accessible by Uber/Lyft or public transit.
Driving?
The room blocks come with parking available for a fee. Parking is generally available in Boston, but can be expensive - a good thing to book ahead of time.
Exploring?
To get around the city, we highly recommend walking and taking public transit. Uber/Lyft are readily available around the city.

THINGS TO DO
We hope you get to enjoy Boston while you're here and have a great weekend exploring the city! We've drafted what we would do on our perfect Saturdays as inspiration and gathered some recommendations for ideas close to hotels and the ICA. Boston and the surrounding area have too much to offer to sum up on one page, but we hope this helps get you started.
Catherine's Perfect Saturday
MORNING COFFEE
Start your morning with a stroll through Cambridge neighborhoods and a cappuccino from Broadsheet.
MUSEUM WANDER
Two of my favorite museums are right around the corner from each other, the Museum of Fine Arts & The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Both are worth a visit - to keep your energy up for dancing, the Gardner Museum is a very achievable Saturday visit with a stunning building to wander.
QUICK SIP
Next stop is a glass of wine and a light bite at a favorite spot. Nathálie Wine Bar is located in the Fenway neighborhood with a sister spot Haley & Henry located downtown if you find yourself in that part of town instead.
AFTERNOON WALK
Take the long way from Fenway through Back Bay via the Commonwealth Avenue Mall (or Newbury Street for some shopping instead!). Wander the Public Garden for a dose of greenery and history in the middle of the city.
BOOKSTORE & BEACON HILL
A great bookstore even for window shopping! Located in the Beacon Hill neighborhood in a historic home, worth a stop to explore before strolling through the neighborhood and admiring the brick streets and beautiful homes.
PRE-WEDDING BUBBLES
In early celebration, I'd end my day meeting Kevin at one of our favorite date spots. A trip to Boston isn't complete without a glass of bubbles, Island Creek oysters, and some seafood for a late lunch to fuel up for a night of dancing.
Kevin's Perfect Saturday
LET'S GET THINGS GOING
A cold brew (or a flight if you're having trouble choosing) and a breakfast burrito at Pepita will get you started on the right foot.
A BIT OF EXERCISE
My favorite way to see the city and earn a beer (or two) later on. Paddle down the Charles towards MIT and our beloved Cambridgeport. Make way for ducks.
A WELL EARNED BREAK
An excellent beer list (including some hard-to-find selections), good food - New Republik is a Cambridge institution and a great sports bar. Be sure to check out the rest of Inman Square.
ANOTHER COFFEE CAN'T HURT
Fuel up after lunch. There are two locations: one in Central Square and one in Inman Square, near New Republik.
IT'S NICE OUT, WHY NOT?
Take a long walk down the Esplanade ending at Night Shift Esplanade - one of our favorite local brewery's summer location. Try not to think about how much more amazing the Esplanade would be if there wasn't a highway running through it. Grab a few Lime Lites. Live a little!
OYSTERS, ANYONE?
Cap off my perfect day by meeting up with Catherine at Row 34 for our favorite Island Creek oysters, champagne, and a cheeseburger that does not get nearly enough credit.
Seaport Local & Other Favorites
COFFEE
A few options around the room block hotels for a quick win. Dunkin also works.
FOOD
A mix; brunch to dinner.
OTHER
Beverages, etc.
FRIDAY
Bleacher Bar
8 PM-11 PM
We're so thankful to have you all here and want to spend more time with you - please join us at a Boston fixture to ring in our weekend for drinks, light bites, and a great view.
When should I arrive?
The event begins at 8 PM and will run until 11. Please join us when your travel plans allow - no stress!
What should I wear?
No need to dress up, casual works perfect.
How do I get there?
Bleacher Bar is right off the Kenmore stop of the Green Line’s B/C/D lines.
It’s also accessible easily via Uber/Lyft.
If driving, parking is available in surface lots and garages near Fenway – it is expensive. Street parking nearby is sparse and Kenmore parking police are notoriously tough.
Will there be food?
Yes! Feel free to eat before, but there will be food available.
What do I do if I’m a Yankees fan?
We love you despite your flaws.
SATURDAY
Institute of Contemporary Art
Ceremony - 6:30
Cocktail Hour - 7-8
Dinner, Drinks, Dancing - 8-12
The big day! We're excited to celebrate with you.
When should I arrive at the ICA?
The ceremony begins at 6:30, please arrive no later than 6:15.
What should I wear?
Dress code is formal; dark suits and ties, longer dresses. If you have a gown or tuxedo that you’ve been looking for an excuse to break out, we’d love to be that excuse!
How do I get there?
Address: 25 Harbor Shore Drive Boston, MA 02210.
If staying at a room block hotel, you’re right around the corner.
If driving, there are two garages adjacent to the ICA.
If taking public transit (respect for doing that all dressed up), you’d get off the Red Line at South Station and catch the SL3 or walk.
Where do I go when I get there?
The ceremony will be behind the ICA on the boardwalk. There will be signage and ushers to escort you to seats.
Can I take pictures/video during the ceremony?
Please don’t! We request that the ceremony be phone free; we want you to be present and enjoy the moments we’ve been dreaming of! Take a night off and let the professionals handle it.
That seems awfully late for a wedding!
Not a question, but you’re right! Our recommendation is to have a late lunch (might we recommend Row 34?) and a strategically timed espresso.
When can I get a drink and an oyster?
We'll have light bites at cocktail hour starting at 7 PM after the ceremony. Great minds think alike.
Are kids welcome?
We're honored that you want your little ones to be a part of the celebration. However, we ask that it's an adults only evening.
GENERAL
Are there any events on Sunday?
Nothing scheduled! Enjoy the city if you’re staying, safe travels if you’re departing.
What should I do/where should I go/where should I eat?
Please refer to Things to Do! Boston is also a lovely city to wander in and let your day find you.
THANK YOU, FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS
